AXYON® Garmin Milanese Loop Band — QuickFit 22mm Stainless Steel

A Fenix is built to be worn up a mountain. It is also worn to work, to dinner and to weddings, and a rubber strap does none of those any favours. This is woven stainless steel mesh with a magnetic clasp, in three finishes, on a QuickFit mount that swaps in about five seconds.

Why this one

• Three finishes, one page. Black, Silver and Rose Gold — pick the one that suits the watch rather than settling for whatever is in stock.
• Fits wrists from 140mm to 207mm (5.5″ to 8.1″). The magnetic clasp closes anywhere along the mesh, so there are no fixed holes and no in-between sizes. Smaller wrists are covered here, which many steel bands simply are not.
• Woven stainless steel. Thick-line mesh that holds its shape, sits flat on the wrist and breathes rather than trapping sweat against the skin.

This is a QuickFit 22 band. It fits watches that take Garmin’s QuickFit 22mm mount:

What it does not fit

QuickFit comes in three widths and they are not interchangeable. This band is 22mm only.

QuickFit 20 watches need the 20mm band, not this one: fēnix 8 43mm, fēnix 7S, 7S Pro, 7S Solar, 7S Sapphire Solar, fēnix 6S, 6S Pro, fēnix 5S, 5S Plus, Instinct 2S.

QuickFit 26 watches need a 26mm band, not this one: fēnix 8 51mm, fēnix 7X, 7X Pro, fēnix 6X, 6X Pro, 6X Sapphire, fēnix 5X, 5X Plus, fēnix 3, Instinct 2X, tactix 7, tactix Delta, Enduro, Enduro 2, quatix 3, Descent Mk1, Descent Mk2, D2 Bravo. Our Magnetic Elastic Nylon Band and Marine Silicone Band are both made in 26mm if you need one.

Some Garmins do not use QuickFit at all. The Venu, Vivoactive, Lily and Vivomove ranges, and the Forerunner 55, 165, 245, 255, 265, 570 and 970, use ordinary spring-bar straps. If your strap comes off with a small lever on a thin metal bar rather than a wide latching plate, you need a spring-bar band, not this one.

Every AXYON Garmin band uses the same QuickFit mount, so they swap over in seconds and the watch changes with the day. Pick the closure that suits the occasion — a magnet when you want speed, a buckle when you want a mechanical lock.

Fitting it

1. Turn the watch over and release the existing QuickFit strap using the small lever on the underside of the connector.
2. Slide the new band’s connector into the lug until it clicks.
3. Repeat on the other side. Tug gently on both halves to confirm they are seated.
4. Wrap the band around your wrist and close the magnetic clasp wherever it sits comfortably. Trim is not needed and not possible — the clasp does the sizing.

Looking after it

Rinse with fresh water after saltwater or heavy sweat and dry it before wearing. Steel mesh holds salt in the weave, which is what dulls the finish over time. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners. This is a dress and everyday band rather than a swimming band — for pool sessions and open water, a silicone strap is the better tool.

Questions we get asked

How do I know if my watch is QuickFit 22?
Look at the back of the strap where it meets the watch. QuickFit has a wide flat plate with a small lever. If yours is a thin metal bar with a tiny sliding tab, that is a spring bar and this band will not fit. The lists above cover the common models.

Will it fit a small wrist?
Yes — down to 140mm (5.5″). The magnetic clasp closes anywhere along the mesh, so there is no minimum hole position to worry about.

Will it fit a large wrist?
Up to 207mm (8.1″). Above that it will not close, so measure first.

Do I need a tool to fit it?
No. QuickFit is tool-free — the lever on the connector does everything.

Does the magnetic clasp interfere with the watch?
No. Garmin watches use GPS and optical sensors, neither of which is affected by a clasp magnet.

Can I shower or swim in it?
It will survive getting wet, but chlorine and salt dull steel mesh over time. Take it off for the pool and rinse it if it gets splashed at the beach. If you want a band for water, the Marine Silicone Band is the one built for it.

Steel or leather?
Both dress the watch up, differently. Steel mesh is cooler, adjusts anywhere and reads more modern. Our Leather & Silicone Band is warmer, softer and reads more like a traditional watch strap.

Which colour?
Black suits a dark or DLC-coated watch and hides marks. Silver is the classic match for a steel bezel. Rose Gold is the warmest of the three and the one that reads least like sports kit.
